Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder

Individuals with ADHD are described as having difficulty organizing tasks & activities. They present as forgetful, easily distractible, tend to confuse priorities, struggle with procrastination, and wait until the last minute to get things done. They are often very intelligent, creative people, but as a result of this neurobiological condition, are unable to live up to their potential.

For the ADHD individual, getting organized and being productive can be a special challenge, but not impossible. It can take time and requires awareness of how ADHD shows up and impacts daily functioning, sometimes even moment by moment functioning.

With education and a greater awareness of one’s ADHD, strategies can be designed and “tried on” to work around the impingement of ADHD symptoms. This is accomplished with a combination of hands on organizing assistance and coaching.

Are you frustrated by your own procrastination?  Would you like to get more done?
